John Davies

Co-Founder/Managing Director

I’ve worked within the telecoms sector for over 21 years and I co-founded BluGem in 2005 where I patented the first real-time test call generator solution. I graduated with a 2.1 Business Information Technology degree and achieved various IT qualifications including a certified ISEB software tester.

At BluGem I continue to invest and develop the business and we have an experienced and driven management team so our products are innovative and we adapt to the dynamic and fast paced telecoms industry.

Dan Goscomb

Business Development Manager

New to BluGem but with 20 years in Mobile & Fixed, Fraud and Revenue Assurance from Sky, T-Mobile, Barclaycard, Cable & Wireless, Virgin Media and most recently VMO2.

I've enjoyed great success implementing BluGem solutions as a customer and now I'm working with clients to make that on-boarding and ROI recognition process as smooth as possible, as BluGem's Business Development Manager.

Damien Puddifoot

Operations Manager

I started my career in the consumer electronics industry over 20 years ago studying analogue/digital radio reception technology and electronics, this supported my role working as an engineer repairing satellite receivers and other electronic devices. I stepped away from electronics to pursue a career in web development where I worked for a large award winning digital agency, which saw me take lead on projects for clients such as BP, Castrol & Wrigley to name a few.


While working as a Lead Web Developer I kept a close eye on the telecoms industry and always had an interest through my electronics knowledge about the principles and technology stacks used throughout telecom networks.


As the Operations Manager at BluGem I oversee our test service operations, I enjoy the exposure it gives me to both our diverse customer base and our bespoke test solutions.

Mark Pereira

Technical Account Manager

I have a technical background in telecoms fault diagnostics and IT support services with a detailed understanding of networks and products. Working at BluGem for over 15 years I lead our test strategy with the aim of identifying limitations that cause revenue leakage and poor customer satisfaction.

Customer success is my main focus from delivering added value services across our solutions portfolio. Working in partnership with customers we act on their feedback to improve our solutions and test the latest network technologies and products.

Chris Vanstone

Software Development Manager

With nearly 15 years industrial software development experience, I have been leading the in house development team at BluGem for over 9 years.  I have worked in a variety of industries including security, semi-conductors and telecommunications following obtaining an MEng in Cybernetics from Reading University, UK.

I believe maintaining an in house development team offers significant benefits in the dynamic capabilities of our products.  We own all the expertise, and are always interested in picking up product customisation projects to better suit your requirements.
